The Escrow Holder, or as more commonly called Escrow Officer is the impartial third party in the real estate transaction who acts upon instructions from both the buyer and the seller of real property, or both borrower and lender. In carrying out these instructions the escrow officer delivers properly executed documents and papers and disburses funds in the transaction.
